From January to March 2024, China's export of sewing machinery products to Asian and African markets increased, while the export to Latin America, Europe, North America and Oceania declined year-on-year. The latest customs data shows that the cumulative import volume of China's sewing machinery products from January to March 2024 is $142 million, down 34.28% year-on-year. Among the major categories of products, the import volume of equipment and household sewing machine before and after sewing declined significantly, while the import volume of embroidery machine showed a significant growth trend. In March, the import volume of China's sewing machinery products was $36.11 million, down 59.80% year-on-year and 42.75% year-on-year.
